\u2013 Investment 3.4 &#8216;Advanced university teaching and skills,&#8217; sub-investment T5 &#8216;Strategic partnerships\/initiatives to innovate the international dimension of the AFAM system,&#8217; funded by the European Union \u2013 NextGenerationEU.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-mmxcypkr-a302ae268e09507b762331f4ab0f7891'   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>The project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Milan Conservatory, in network with the Conservatories of Florence, Modena and Carpi, Parma and Turin, the Polytechnic of the Arts of Bergamo, the NABA-New Academy of Fine Arts of Milan, the University of Milan, won a tender issued by the Ministry of University and Research, subsidised with European funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, following the covid-19 pandemic, with the transnational mobility project \u201cThe Four Turandot-T4T\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-mmxczohp-5dfe72f674c31754957bff68f54e8ebc'   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>The project involves teachers and students and it is dedicated to Giacomo Puccini\u2019s latest masterpiece, Turandot, with the aim of presenting to the public, by March 2026, all the four versions of the opera currently known to the world of scholarship, in four different multimedia performances with high technological content in four different countries of the world.<br \/>\nThe Milan Conservatory will therefore involve 3 prestigious institutions in particular, to create a co-production of Turandot and stage three of the four performances at their venue (one of them will be staged in Milan). The main characters of the opera (Turandot, Calaf, Li\u00f9) will move transnationally and so will do collaborative pianists, directors, set designers: they all will be students selected through the auditions.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-mmxcyuc1-05b4715153d8cc7922ce61644c9feb73'   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><strong>The T4T project also includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>an international study conference dedicated both to Puccini as a student at the Milan Conservatory and to the results and influences of Puccini&#8217;s work on the world of music;<br \/>\nan exhibition, also in two parts, dedicated to Puccini as a student at the Milan Conservatory, and to his last opera Turandot, in collaboration with the Archivio Storico Ricordi;<br \/>\nthe comparative critical edition of the two finales of Turandot written by Franco Alfano, in collaboration with Casa Ricordi<br \/>\nthe creation of three new contemporary epilogues of the opera.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-mmxd028y-1dc3e3ea390f3cebac54099b9be2160a'   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>In the first phase, the project will issue Auditions, aimed at students of higher musical education and universities, for the selection of singers, conductors, collaborative pianists, philologists and composers.
