MLOrk is a stable ensemble dedicated to the creation of new electronic chamber music.
An integrated organism conceived as a network of humans, musical instruments and machines where the former communicate with the latter through ‘creative embodied interfaces’ (sensors, microphones, cameras, smartphones, etc.) in the continuous pursuit of new real and virtual instrument making (and related instrumental performance gesture techniques) oriented towards the ever-changing expressive needs of our time.
A physical and computer sound design workshop where the right balance is sought between what humans are good at and what computers are good at, trying to overcome their respective limitations in an attempt to achieve and explore new artistic goals.
