Prizes

On this page you will find information on the Awards that the Conservatory and an important series of generous donors make available to the students.

Every year, the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Music in Milan organises the Conservatory Prize, an initiative aimed at students regularly enrolled in the current academic year. The Prize is made possible thanks to the generosity of many donors and takes the form of an internal competition that pits students of different ages and disciplines against each other in an atmosphere of exchange and mutual comparison.

Specifically, the Conservatoire Prize takes the form of a super prize, to be awarded to the first of the first, i.e. to the student or instrumental group selected as the best among the winners in each category.

The Milan Conservatory of Music Prize takes the form of a true Classical Talent: in the spring months of each academic year, the Institute's best talents compete in the preliminary and semi-final rounds, in autumn the final round is held, which sees the first classified in each performance category compete, followed by the announcement ceremony of the overall winner.
