The Institute for Music Research (Iremus) is responsible for nurturing, organising and supporting artistic-musical research, which, alongside teaching and production, constitutes a specific mission of the Conservatory.
The members of Iremus, coordinated by the Director's Delegate, are entrusted with the task of devising projects; identifying internal resources capable of developing them; establishing, where necessary, partnership relations with other institutions to boost interdisciplinary research prospects; creating the conditions for these projects to produce fruitful results in terms of innovation and experimentation with new languages.
Through these activities, every year Iremus coordinates the organisation of Conferences and promotes the publishing of Conservatory Notebooks and of Other publications by the Conservatory.
