OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)
To search for a bibliographic resource held by the library, you need to connect to the’OPAC of the National Library Service with Library Filter MI0344.
(It is also possible to use the OPAC of the Lombardy Region Library Network).
Some suggestions for starting your search in SBN can be found in the attached tab at the bottom of this page.
Specimens with “ZZZ” inventory and “RECUPERO” location”
For some documents the shelfmark is not visible (copies with ZZZ inventory and RECOVERY shelfmark); pending the completion of the retrieval of these records, it is necessary to search for the same document in the’SBN OPAC or request placement by writing to:

Card Catalogue for Authors
In the case of music editions (printed music) entered in the Library between 1900 and 1990 searches in OPAC SBN might yield no results (retrospective cataloguing has not yet been completed); the card author catalogue may therefore be used available in the Library.
Since November 2020, the Library has started a project of digitisation of the catalogue tabs.
National card catalogue of the musical manuscripts of the URFM
For research on musical manuscripts, in addition to OPAC SBN, it can be useful to consult the records of the national catalogue of musical manuscripts of the URFM which have been digitised and are available at this address.
As well as searching by fields (author, title, form, instrumentation, key, opus number), it is also possible to browse – virtually – the drawers of the catalogue
RISM online catalogue International Directory of Musical Sources
The RISM online catalogue contains bibliographic records of music manuscripts, printed editions, librettos and treatises on music.
RISM is structured into 3 sections (A series: Inventories of musical sources; B series: Bibliographies organised by topic; C series: Directory of Music Research Libraries); the A/1 and A/2 series and part of the B/1 series are fully searchable online
Online subscription resources and directories
The Library guarantees its users access to databases, bibliographic directories, journals, ebooks and other digital subscription collections, via the PCs available to users in the Library or via Wi-Fi.
For students and teaching staff of the Conservatoire, access to these resources is also possible remotely via proxy server

Digital library
Is it possible to search in ours as well Digital Library, which includes the reproduction of some bibliographic resources held by the Library. The link to the digital library is in any case also present in the SBN records for which the digital object is available.
MetaOPAC
If the identified resource is not in our library, it is possible to search the OPAC SBN without the MI0344 filter, or consult a MetaOPAC, which is an online catalogue that queries multiple OPACs simultaneously:
