Call for students: Auditions of the four soloists for Mozart's Requiem with the Youth Orchestra

This call is addressed to all students regularly enrolled in the academic courses of the Milan Conservatory, for the academic year 2025/2026, who wish to take part in the production of Mozart's Requiem that will take place on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, at the Sala Verdi in Milan (the detailed rehearsal schedule will be communicated later).

The selection will take place on Saturday 7 February 2026, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Conservatory's Sala Verdi.

AUDITION PROGRAMME

Soprano:
1 aria of your choice from the Mozart repertoire
Offertorium, measures 32-43
Benedictus, measures 6-18, 33-50

Mezzo-soprano:
1 aria of your choice from the Mozart repertoire
Offertorium, measures 34-43
Benedictus, measures 4-18, 33-50

Tenor:
1 aria of your choice from the Mozart repertoire
Tuba mirum, size 18-34
Benedictus, measures 10-18, 30-50

Low:
1 aria of your choice from the Mozart repertoire
Tuba mirum, meas. 1-18,
Benedictus, measures 28-50

During the audition, candidates must use the pianist placed at their disposal by the Conservatoire, with whom there will be no preliminary rehearsal.
