Notice of 21 May 2019: Please find below the minutes of the Election Commission No. 4 of 21 May 2019, which met to deliberate on the following topic: “Drawing of names for order of public assembly interventions”.

Notice of 10 May 2019: Notice is hereby given that with Minute No. 2 of 10 May 2019 the active electorate was defined, while with Minute No. 3 of 10 May 2019 it was decided that the passive electorate for the elections of the Director of the Milan Conservatory of Music for the three-year period 2019/2022 consists of the following candidates:

Notice of 30 April 2019Due to material errors, by decree prot. 2622 of 30 April 2019, the previous decree (prot. 2562 of 23 April 2019) calling for the elections of the Director for the three-year period 2019/2022 was cancelled and replaced by the new decree prot. 2625 of 30 April 2019.
The deadline for submitting nominations is 10 May 2019. Voting will be held on 5 to 7 June 2019, with a possible runoff scheduled for 17 to 19 June 2019.

The Board of Directors is a “necessary” Body of the Conservatory, whose powers are regulated by Article 7 of Presidential Decree no. 132 of 28 February 2003 (published in the Official Gazette no. 135 of 13 June 2003) and by Article 15 of the current Statute of the Conservatory.

For the three-year period 2025/2028, Pursuant to the Decree of the Minister of the University and Research, Protocol No. 9694 of 1 August 2025, the Board of Directors of the Conservatory is composed as follows:

The Nucleus has the task of evaluating the results of activities and the overall functioning of the Conservatoire by verifying the optimal use of resources.

The Core draws part of its working materials from the indications/suggestions of students and teachers. For this reason, the Board considers any suggestions, considerations or criticisms you may wish to send to its e-mail address as valuable.

The Evaluation Board, as a necessary body of the institutions of higher artistic and musical education - and therefore of the conservatories in particular - was established by Presidential Decree 132 of 2003, which states:

Evaluation Board

  1. The Evaluation Board, established by resolution of the Administrative Council, after consulting the Academic Council, consists of three members with differentiated competences, two of whom are chosen from among external experts, including foreign ones, with proven qualifications in the field of evaluation.
  2. The Evaluation Team verifies the correspondence of results to objectives. In particular
    a) It is responsible for evaluating the results of teaching and scientific activities and the overall functioning of the institution, verifying, also by means of comparative cost and performance analyses, the optimal use of resources;
    b) draw up an annual report on the institution's activities and operations on the basis of general criteria determined by the Committee for the Evaluation of the University System, having consulted the CNAM; the report is sent to the Ministry by 31 March each year and constitutes the reference framework for the Ministry's allocation of financial contributions;
    c) periodically acquires, while preserving their anonymity, the students' opinions on teaching activities, giving an account of them in the annual report referred to in point b);
  3. The institutions guarantee the evaluation teams operational autonomy, the right of access to the necessary data and information, as well as the publicity and dissemination of the acts in compliance with the legislation protecting confidentiality.

The College of Professors is established pursuant to Article 11 of Presidential Decree No. 132/2003 and Article 13 of the current Statute. It is composed of Director, which presides over it, and by all the teachers in service at the Institution. It supports the activities of the Academic Council, helping to determine the general objectives and guidelines. It also formulates opinions and makes requests regarding the annual reports submitted by the Director, as well as the revision of the Statute and regulations.

The Student Council of the Milan Conservatory is composed as follows:
