Academic year 2025/2026
The academic calendar for the academic year 2025/2026 is composed as follows:
- 3 November 2025start of the 2025/2026 academic year;
- 31 October 2026conclusion of the 2025/2026 academic year.
Class periods are indicated as follows:
- from 3 November 2025 at 14 February 2026;
- from 2 March at 24 July 2026;
- from 1 September at 31 October 2026.
The examination sessions will have the following starting dates:
- 16 February 2026: start of winter exam session;
- 15 June 2026: start of the summer session of examinations;
- 7 September 2026: start of the autumn session of examinations.
The following closure and/or suspension periods apply:
- 7 e 8 December 2025closure of the Conservatory for national holidays;
- from 22 December 2025 at 6 January 2026Suspension of teaching activities for the Christmas holidays, with closure on 25 to 28 December 2025 and 1 to 6 January 2026;
- 7 February 2026suspension of teaching activities for open day 2026;
- from 16 February at 1 March 2026suspension of teaching activities for examinations;
- from 2 at 8 April 2026Suspension of teaching activities for the Easter holidays;
- 25 April 2026closing for Liberation Day;
- 1 and 2 May 2026closure for Workers' Day;
- 1 and 2 June 2026closure for Republic Day;
- 25 July, 1 August, from 8 at 16 August, 22 and 29 August 2026Summer closures of the Conservatory;
- 15 August 2026closure of the Conservatory for Ferragosto.
Academic year 2024/2025
The calendar for the next academic year 2024/2025 will be composed as follows:
- 4 November 2024start of the 2024/2025 academic year;
- 31 October 2024conclusion of the 2024/2025 academic year.
The Open Day 2025 will be held on 8 February 2025.
Class periods are as follows (with the exception of Sundays, public holidays and closed days below):
- from 4 November 2024 at 15 February 2025;
- from 3 March at 25 July 2025;
- from 1 September at 31 October 2025;
The examination sessions will have the following starting dates:
- 17 February 2025: start of winter exam session;
- 16 June 2025: start of the summer session of examinations;
- 8 September 2025: start of the autumn session of examinations.
There will be the following periods of closure and/or suspension of activities:
- 14, 15 and 16 November: suspension of teaching activities in conjunction with the AEC annual congress;
- 7 and 8 December 2024closure of the Conservatory for local (7 December) and national holidays (8 December);
- from 22 December 2024 at 6 January 2025Suspension of teaching activities for the Christmas holidays, with closure of the office on 22 to 31 December 2024, 1 and 6 January 2025;
- 8 February 2025Suspension of teaching activities for Open Day 2025;
- from 17 February at 1 March 2025suspension of teaching activities for examinations;
- from 18 at 27 April 2025Suspension of teaching activities for the Easter holidays with closure of the premises on 20, 21, 25 (Liberation Day), 26 and 27 April 2025;
- 1 May 2025closure of the Conservatory for national holidays;
- 26 July, 2, 9, 30 August 2025Summer closures of the Conservatory;
- 15 August 2025closure of the Conservatory for national holidays;
- from 9 at 17 August 2025extraordinary closure for maintenance and renovation work (the administration reserves the right to extend this period according to the needs of the work).
Admissions examinations for the 2025/2026 academic year will also be held during the 2024/2025 academic year. In particular, these examinations are scheduled from 19 May to 7 June 2025, except for the admission examinations for students in the Turandot programme, which will be held in September 2025. The music culture theory test (only for admissions to propaedeutic courses and first-level academic diploma courses) will be held on Saturday 10 May 2025.
Academic year 2023/2024
The calendar for the 2023/2024 academic year is composed as follows:
- 2 November 2023start of the 2023/2024 academic year;
- 31 October 2024conclusion of the 2023/2024 academic year.
Classes will be held during the following periods (with the exception of Sundays, public holidays and closed days indicated below):
- from 2 November 2023 at 9 February 2024;
- from 1 March at 26 July 2024;
- from 2 September at 31 October;
The examination sessions will have the following starting dates:
- 12 February 2024: start of winter exam session;
- 10 June 2024: start of the summer session of examinations;
- 2 September 2024: start of the autumn session of examinations.
The following closure and/or suspension periods apply:
- 7 and 8 December 2023closure of the Conservatory for local and national holidays;
- from 23 December 2023 at 7 January 2022: suspension of teaching activities for the Christmas holidays, with closure on 23, 25, 26, 30, 31 December 2023, 1, 6 January 2024;
- 10 February 2024suspension of teaching activities for Open Day 2024;
- from 12 at 29 February 2024suspension of teaching activities for examinations;
- from 28 March at 3 April 2024: suspension of teaching activities for the Easter holidays with closure from 30 March to 1 April 2024;
- 25 April 2024closure of the Conservatory for national holidays;
- 1 May 2024closure of the Conservatory for national holidays;
