Each enrolled student has his or her own Conservatoire mailbox (nome.cognome@studenti.consmilano.it). Its use is compulsory for all communication towards the Conservatoire and the teachers. Via the respective email, students will receive important information regarding their course of study, as well as service information.

Booking arrangements

Classrooms can be booked via the website: https://consmilano.asimut.net/public/login.php or by using the badge at the monitors in the Conservatoire (new entrants can apply to gestione.spazi@consmilano.it for badge activation).

To access the site, enter your institutional e-mail address in the username field and select “click here to change or reset your password”. An e-mail will be sent to your institutional account for setting the password to access Asimut.

In fact, the password for accessing Asimut is NOT the same as the password for institutional mail.

Confirmation and cancellation of bookings

Bookings must always be confirmed within 10 minutes of the scheduled start, otherwise they are automatically cancelled by the system.

Confirmation is made with the badge at the monitors in the Conservatory and, once made, the booking changes from red to green.

Reservations can only be confirmed one hour before the scheduled start.

If the booking is made in the hour before the start time, it will appear directly in green and no confirmation is required.

In the event that the monitors are temporarily out of order, bookings must be confirmed at the Space Management Office. Otherwise, the booking will be cancelled automatically 10 minutes after the start.

If you are unable to use the room you have booked, please cancel your booking as soon as possible (by mobile phone or online) so that others can use the room.

Reservation Rules

Students can reserve classrooms:

  • for the next 48 hours
  • for a maximum of 6 hours per week, of which 2 hours per day
  • for a minimum of 30 minutes
  • the minimum interval between reservations must be half an hour

In case you have used up all the minutes available for bookings, you can still make a “last minute” booking of up to 2 hours and 15 minutes.

N.B.

Many classrooms are only bookable according to the type of classroom.

If you do not belong to the group of authorised users, the following warning will appear when you try to reserve them: “You are not allowed to create or modify bookings in the room...”.

For teaching or production requirements or for any type of emergency, the Space Management Office may make changes to bookings, notifying those concerned and finding an alternative solution where possible.

The figure of the Tutor, carried out by Prof. Maria Cristina Curti, offers a support service to students during their studies.

You can turn to your tutor for guidance on exam regulations and registration procedures, advice on formulating your study plan, clarification of your academic standing and for the resolution of any problems.

You can contact the Tutor by e-mail at: mariacristina.curti@consmilano.it to define an in-person or online meeting on the institutional Teams platform.

DSU regional scholarships are part of the right to study in favour of particularly deserving students who, faced with an unfavourable economic situation, intend to continue their studies at a university or AFAM institution.

Grants are awarded according to the criteria set out in the call for applications, drawn up annually on the basis of the indications provided by the Lombardy Region, including eligibility requirements (income limits and merit requirements) and available in the download area of this page.

In particular, two requirements are taken into account when awarding DSU scholarship benefits:

  • the INCOME: it is necessary to apply for the ISEE valid for the right to study (which not present omissions/defects); its value must be less than (or equal to) the limit set in the notice;
  • the MERIT: for the years following the first year, CFAs (Academic Training Credits) obtained by the student will be taken into account. The minimum number of CFA required varies depending on the year of enrolment and the level of the course of study (Academic Diploma I or II level). For the first year, the only eligibility requirement for benefits is income, however, to retain the benefit the student must achieve a minimum number of CFAs during the academic year, as stipulated in the notice.

Important: Call for DSU 2025/2026

Below you can find the call for applications for the Right to University Studies a.y. 2025/2026. It is possible to apply for grants by 31 October 2025.

Piano collaborations for instrument classes

The Conservatoire, within the limits of availability, offers students enrolled in instrument courses (including Piano) the possibility of using the piano accompaniment service in anticipation of the various examination sessions. It is understood that this service does not constitute an obligation and that each student is free to sit for the examination with his or her own piano accompanist (in which case the student must rehearse with his or her own pianist outside the Conservatoire and must bear any expenses without the possibility of any reimbursement).

The coordinator of the piano collaborations is Prof. Stefania Mormone (stefania.mormone@consmilano.it).

Piano accompaniment for exams

Once the collaborative pianist has been assigned to the student's class, they will be able to arrange the study and lesson hours based on the following maximum limits:

Propaedeutic Course Certifications

  • Up to 4 hours

Three-year period

  • executive practice 1-2-3: up to 10 hours
  • performance practice and repertoire other family instrument: up to 4 hours
  • performance practice and contemporary music repertoires: up to 4 hours
  • Performance practice - Instrument and orchestra: up to 4 hours
  • Final exam: up to 5 hours

Two-year period

  • performance practice: 1-2 up to 10 hours
  • performance practice and repertoire other family instrument: up to 4 hours
  • performance practice and contemporary music repertoires: up to 4 hours
  • performance practice – Instrument and orchestra: up to 4 hours
  • Final exam: up to 5 hours

A student who has been assigned a piano accompanist and has used the hours set aside for the examination for which he or she has applied may sit the examination in any session, but may not apply for additional hours. It is understood that the hours spent with the piano accompanist will still count towards the maximum limits indicated above.

The hours must be certified in the register available to the accompanist, with the exact indication of the day and time of the rehearsal/lesson, indicating the year of the course and the subject for which the exam is to be taken.

B) Piano Accompaniment for the Awards

The piano accompaniment service is provided exclusively for the Conservatoire Prize.
To students, subject to availability, the following will be granted:

  • a maximum of 2 hours for the trials preceding the Conservatory Prize Elimination Rounds;
  • a maximum of 2 hours for the tests preceding the Conservatory Prize Finals.

For anything not indicated (e.g. auditions, National Arts Award, etc.) the piano accompaniment service will be organised by the Production Office and will not include rehearsals prior to the auditions.

C) Piano accompaniment for essays

Teachers may request the assignment of an accompanist pianist in anticipation of a recital. Please note that recitals may have a maximum duration of 1 hour. Therefore, subject to availability, for each recital an accompanist pianist can guarantee a total of 2 hours (1 hour for the rehearsal + 1 hour for the performance of the recital).

D) Piano accompaniment for the masterclass

Masterclass coordinators may, at least 30 days before the start of activities, arrange the availability of the accompanist.

The piano accompanist will only be assigned for the hours necessary for any auditions and the conducting of lessons. There are no rehearsal hours with the students.

Harpsichord collaborations for early music classes

The Conservatoire, within the limits of availability, offers students enrolled in courses of Early music the possibility of using the harpsichord accompaniment service for the various examination sessions. It is understood that this service does not constitute an obligation and that each student is free to come to the examination with his or her own accompanist (in which case the student must rehearse with his or her own accompanist outside the Conservatoire and must bear any expenses without the possibility of any reimbursement).

A) Accompaniment on harpsichord for examinations

To access this service, students must apply by filling in the appropriate MODULE  during the following periods only:

  • for the winter session: from 15 November to 7 January
  • for the summer session: from 1 March to 30 April
  • for the autumn session: 1 July to 30 August

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered and students will have to make their own arrangements to find an accompanying harpsichordist at their own expense.

Once the accompanying person has been assigned, the student may agree on study and lesson hours on the basis of the following maximum limits:

Pre-Academic Course Level Certifications

  • basic: up to 4 hours
  • intermediate: up to 6 hours
  • advanced: up to 8 hours

Propaedeutic Course Certifications

  • up to 8 hours

Previous order

  • medium: up to 10 hours
  • diploma: up to 10 hours


Three-year period

  • performance practice 1-2-3: up to 10 hours- performance practice - instrument and orchestra: up to 6 hours
  • final examination: up to 10 hours, for the summer and autumn session, and up to 3 hours for the winter session.


Two-year period

  • performance practice: 1-2 up to 10 hours
  • performance practice - instrument and orchestra: up to 6 hours
  • final examination: up to 10 hours, for the summer and autumn session, and up to 3 hours for the winter session.

In addition to the number of hours indicated above, an additional hour is scheduled to enable the examination to take place.

A student who has been assigned a harpsichord accompanist for a given examination session, should he or she decide to postpone the examination, will be required to complete the application form again in anticipation of the following examination session. It is understood that the hours spent with the accompanist will still count towards the above maximum limits.

Students are required to provide the harpsichordist assigned to them, as a matter of urgency and no later than two weeks prior to the examination, with the parts of the planned pieces.


B) Accompaniment for essays

Teachers may request the assignment of an accompanist in anticipation of an essay. Please note that recitals may have a maximum duration of no more than 1 hour. Therefore, subject to availability, an accompanist may be assigned for each recital for a total of 2 hours (1 hour for the rehearsal + 1 hour for the performance of the recital). Requests must be received at least 30 days in advance via this FORM

C) Harpsichord accompaniment for masterclasses and seminars
The contact persons for masterclasses and seminars may, at least 30 days before the start of the activities, request the assignment of an accompanist using this FORM

The accompanying harpsichordist will only be assigned for the hours necessary for any auditions and the conducting of lessons. There are no rehearsal hours with the students.

Accompanying person request

The Student Council makes a simple vademecum available to those enrolled at the Conservatoire, useful for orientation in the Institute in the first moments of academic life.

For the academic year 2025/2026, applications for the potential recognition of foreign academic qualifications may be submitted by 30 April 2026, in compliance with the guidelines and requirements set out in the regulations.

COLLABORATIONS 200 HOURS

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR STUDENTS REGULARLY ENROLLED AT THE “GIUSEPPE VERDI” CONSERVATORY IN MILAN

For each new academic year, selections are announced pursuant to Article 11 of Legislative Decree no. 68 of 29 March 2012 for collaborations, lasting 200 hours, within the framework of various Conservatoire activities.

In particular, collaborations may include support in different areas:

  • Communication
  • Production
  • SAV Centre - audio and video services of the Conservatory
  • Backliner for Pop and Jazz set-ups
  • DSA tutor, supporting special education
  • Library
  • Vocal Ensemble
  • “La Magnolia”, the Conservatory's magazine
  • Instrumentalists in supporting orchestral ensemble

Collaborations:

must be completed by 31 October of the relevant academic year and will last a maximum of 200 hours;
will stop automatically if the student in charge should graduate before the 200 hours are reached;
will be articulated in such a way as to ensure full compatibility of the services required with the teaching duties and study commitments of the selected students; it is understood that teaching obligations will have absolute priority and precedence in the activities of the selected student;
will normally take place on the Conservatoire's premises and will be preceded by a preparatory meeting;
will in no way constitute an employment relationship and will not give rise to any evaluation for the purposes of public competitions.
Any students selected will be required to perform the requested services diligently, in accordance with the instructions given by the Conservatoire's contact person within the scope of the assignment and in any case in full compliance with the Conservatoire's general operating rules.

All students on Level I or Level II academic courses may participate in the selections, within the years regularly scheduled in their respective study plan. Students attending any “fuori corso” annuality are excluded. Collaborations will only be activated in the event of actual need. Furthermore, inclusion in the ranking will not entail any obligation on the part of the Conservatoire.
