PREREQUISITE FOR CANDIDATES
Possession of a Level II (Intermediate) or Level III (Advanced) certification in the pre-academic course of Theory, Rhythm, and Musical Perception obtained from the Conservatory of Milan, or possession of a Theory and Sight-Singing Licence under the previous regulations.
ADMISSION TEST
Interview with the examining board including:
- possible presentation of original compositions;
- Possible presentation of school work related to harmony exercises, counterpoint, transcriptions, orchestrations, analysis;
- music theory questions;
- Verification of analytical ability based on a short musical excerpt presented by the committee.;
- Historical-stylistic recognition and identification of the ensemble by listening to a short piece proposed by the commission.
