Daniele Agiman is among the most internationally active Italian conductors. In South Korea and Japan he is a regular guest of the most prestigious institutions (Taegu State Theatre, Sejong Opera Festival, Centennial Hall in Nara). He has also conducted in Argentina, South Africa, France, Germany, Romania, Switzerland, Georgia and Russia; he made his debuts at the Konzerthaus in Vienna and at the Brucknerhaus in Linz, at the invitation of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. First prize at the 1st Mario Gusella Competition (Pescara 1991), he has been invited by all the most important Italian orchestras and in the most prestigious theatres and concert seasons. He has been committed to the diffusion and promotion of the production of contemporary composers, conducting many first performances.He has held many positions: Artistic and Musical Director of I Madrigalisti Ambrosiani, Musical Director of the Autumn Opera Season of the Lugano Congress Palace, Artistic Director of the Lyrical Laboratory of the Milan Conservatory, Principal Conductor of the Benedetto Marcello Orchestra of Teramo, Artistic Consultant for the Italian Opera of the Taegu State Theatre since 1995, Music Director for the orchestral productions of the Ab Harmoniae Association, Music Director and Artistic Advisor for the opera projects of the Pergine Spettacolo Aperto Festival, Principal Guest Conductor of the Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra, Principal Conductor of the G. Rossini di Pesaro since 2009.Since 1999 he has been Professor of Conducting at the Conservatory of Milan; since 2007 Honorary Professor of Conducting at Kurashiki Sakuyo University in Japan.
