The Conservatory of Florence and the Conservatory of Milan, in collaboration with the Orpheus Instituut in Gent (Belgium), organise the Workshop on Artistic Research in Music (WARM) 2026: a pre-PhD training course which offers conservatoire students and young musicians the opportunity to developing one's own project of artistic research.

Selections for staff expansion are announced of the Milan Conservatory Symphony Orchestra for productions academic year 2025 - 2026.
All students regularly enrolled in Saxophone courses at the Milan Conservatory for the academic year 2025 - 2026 may participate.
The instruments for which auditions are announced are as follows:
Candidates enrolled in any three-year course must already have attended (at the time of application) the first of the two compulsory semesters of Orchestral Exercises.
Auditions will be held on the following dates: Friday 13 February 2026, Puccini Hall, 2-8 p.m.
N.B. A detailed convocation schedule will follow once applications have been received.

will be the recipients of a Artistic Award (OSCoM Artistic Award) by euro 900 (nine hundred/00) disbursed in January 2027.
N.B.: Artistic prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the committee partials. These partial prizes will only be awarded to those who can participate in fewer than the three productions indicated in point 2 (see above) only for reasons pertaining to the organisation of the proposed concert programmes in the season, subject, however, to the positive final evaluation by the commission.

Protocol No. 147 of 12 January 2026
1) This call is addressed to internal Conservatoire teachers (fixed-term or open-ended contract) and is aimed at the acquisition of research proposals to be carried out in the A.A. 2025/2026.
No more than three projects may be approved for the academic year 2025/2026.
2) Projects must be submitted by filling in the form at link
expiring on the date of 20 February 2026, 11.59 p.m.
3) Professors who have already carried out a project in the previous call (2024/2025) as a proposing party may not submit research projects in this call.
4) Proposals should:
a) develop a research project in the multiple fields of creation, practice, theory, historiography, didactics, pedagogy, music psychology and music therapy;
b) distinguish themselves from other types of activities carried out at the Conservatoire (seminars, masterclasses, workshops, etc.) and be characterised by their multidisciplinary approach and originality with respect to the chosen theme, also envisaging the involvement of several internal subjects (other teachers and students), and of experts from outside the Conservatoire.
5) Proposals should contain:
(a) name of the proposing teacher
(b) title of the research project
(c) project description
d) CV of the proposing teacher
6) Proposals should contain the economic plan of the project. Specifically, the description of the research project should contain the following information:
a) Project summary (max 2500 characters): definition of concepts and objectives;
b) description of the state of the art on the subject; it must be made clear what research on similar issues has already been carried out, nationally and internationally, and how the project contributes to the advancement of knowledge in relation to existing research;
c) method: as comprehensive a description as possible of how the research will be conducted, with what instruments of investigation, on what theoretical assumptions;
d) Dissemination: indicate in which format you think the results of the project could be presented (concerts, public recordings, publications, conferences, seminars, institutional presentations, national or international forums, etc.);
(e) Main bibliographical references;
f) internal teachers involved (attach relevant curricula);
(g) external stakeholders, natural persons and institutions (attach curricula, letters of accession to the project);
(h) plan for implementation of the research project activities: indicate the timetable of the main stages of implementation.
7) Budget. The funding ceiling for each project is set at € 5,000.00. The applicant must indicate the expected overall cost and detail the individual items of expenditure. Funds or sponsorship from external parties for the co-financing of project activities are allowed.
8) The proposals received will be screened by the board of IREMUS (Institute for Music Research), which will evaluate the projects according to the following criteria:
(a) relevance/pertinence of the project;
(b) originality and feasibility of the proposal, also in relation to the budget;
(c) multidisciplinary and novel approach of the project.
If necessary, it may be requested to supplement the proposed documentation, or to make changes to the project in order to enable its actual implementation.
9) A report with IREMUS' assessments will be forwarded to the Academic Council, which is responsible for identifying the projects to be funded.

Call for students: Auditions of the four soloists for Mozart's Requiem with the Youth Orchestra
This call is addressed to all students regularly enrolled in the academic courses of the Milan Conservatory, for the academic year 2025/2026, who wish to take part in the production of Mozart's Requiem that will take place on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, at the Sala Verdi in Milan (the detailed rehearsal schedule will be communicated later).
The selection will take place on Saturday 7 February 2026, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Conservatory's Sala Verdi.

Si comunica che è prorogata, in favore degli studenti del Conservatorio, la selezione per la predisposizione di graduatorie di merito finalizzate all’assegnazione di borse di collaborazione “200 ore” (ex articolo 11 del D.Lgs. 29 marzo 2012, n. 68), da svolgersi presso alcuni uffici del Conservatorio di Milano.
Le collaborazioni riguarderanno specificamente attività di supporto nel seguente settore, con la descrizione dettagliata riportata nell’allegato in calce al bando:

La Commissione si riunirà per il colloquio e per la valutazione della documentazione pervenuta e, al termine, redigerà la graduatoria.

5. RESERVATIONS
Il Conservatorio si riserva di non pubblicare una o più graduatorie nei seguenti casi:
a) nessuna candidatura che rispecchi i requisiti richiesti;
b) venir meno della necessità di attivare le collaborazioni oggetto del bando.
La pubblicazione della graduatoria non comporta l’obbligo automatico per il Conservatorio di avviare le collaborazioni oggetto del presente bando. Il numero delle collaborazioni sarà determinato dal Conservatorio in base alle effettive esigenze dei diversi uffici.
6. PERFORMANCE OF THE COLLABORATION AND REMUNERATION
Le collaborazioni saranno avviate alla firma di accettazione dell’incarico di collaborazione da parte degli studenti interessati. L’effettivo servizio sarà preceduto da un incontro preparatorio dove verranno dettagliati gli impegni previsti. Le presenze saranno testimoniate dal relativo registro, di cui è responsabile il referente della collaborazione appositamente individuato, il quale organizzerà la collaborazione e verificherà l’adempimento degli obblighi degli studenti assegnatari delle collaborazioni.
Il Conservatorio provvederà alla copertura assicurativa contro gli infortuni in favore degli studenti incaricati.
Al termine delle collaborazioni il referente redigerà e trasmetterà alla Direzione del Conservatorio, una valutazione dell’attività svolta da ciascun collaboratore comprendente una relazione sull’efficacia del servizio attivato (cfr. art. 13 comma 3 lettera d L. 390/91).
Il compenso della collaborazione è fissato in € 10,00 l’ora e sarà esente da imposta locale sui redditi e da quella sul reddito delle persone fisiche ai sensi dell’art. 13 L. 390/91.
Il corrispettivo verrà versato in un’unica soluzione al termine della collaborazione, in presenza di valutazione positiva del lavoro svolto.
7. RINUNCE, RITIRI, RISOLUZIONI DELL’INCARICO
Gli studenti che, pur avendo sottoscritto l’accettazione della collaborazione, non prendano servizio per motivi diversi da grave malattia, gravidanza, servizio militare o civile, scambi studenteschi internazionali, attività artistica approvata dal Direttore del Conservatorio, decadono dall’affidamento della collaborazione.
Gli studenti che, a collaborazione avviata, dichiarino di rinunciare per gli stessi motivi sopra indicati, dandone un preavviso di 15 giorni, conservano il diritto di ricevere unicamente il compenso per le prestazioni già svolte. In tal caso il Direttore avrà facoltà di provvedere ad affidare l’incarico residuo scorrendo la relativa graduatoria.
Il rapporto di collaborazione potrà essere risolto in qualunque momento per inadempienza su segnalazione del referente del Conservatorio, opportunamente comunicato alla Direzione del Conservatorio.
SUPPORTO A DIDATTICA SPECIALE – TUTOR ALLA PARI PER L’A.A.2025/2026
La categoria ricercata, tramite il presente bando, è la seguente: supporto allo studio (tutor alla pari) in favore di studenti DSA e con una disabilità o invalidità superiore al 66% (Legge 170/2010 e Legge 104/1992).
DESCRIPTION OF THE COLLABORATION
The tasks that will be assigned to the eventually selected students will be as follows:
a) Supporto alle attività di studio individuale per le discipline di Teoria ritmica e percezione musicale, Teoria dell’armonia e analisi e Storia della musica;
b) Supporto alle attività di studio all’interno delle classi di strumento e musica da camera;
c) Supporto alle attività di tutoraggio relativamente agli esami (iscrizione, svolgimento, ecc.);
d) Supporto alle attività di studio per la predisposizione di partiture adeguate alle caratteristiche degli studenti che ne faranno richiesta;
e) Supporto al delegato nelle attività organizzative di eventi.
